Full-Service
emailROI offers a full-service email campaign management package. eROI helps clients generate and capture leads online through email, e-commerce, event registration and search engine marketing. We’ve organized our campaign management services into logical chronological steps for simplicity’s sake. Before a prospect or customer ever receives an email, strategic planning is conducted to ensure the message is read and understood. Strong and relevant creative is necessary to increase response rates, while a solid technology platform is required to generate meaningful data for analysis.
Strategic Planning
The campaign development process begins with a strategic planning phase to gain insight into appropriate messaging, offer and creative treatments based on target profiles. The output of the planning phase is an electronic dialog strategy plan (EDSP). The plan outlines strategies, tactics, timelines and deliverables. If available data is insufficient, we may recommend conducting a Web-based survey. Surveys are commonly used to test key messages, offers and email preferences.
Creative & Production
The next phase is to develop creative treatments and produce email messages and associated landing pages based on existing identity and content. If current style guides are inadequate, we have the capability to develop creative that is intriguing, relevant and consistent. Deliverables for this phase include a creative brief (based on the EDSP) and an appropriate number of creative treatments (comps) of HTML emails and landing pages for review. Once a creative direction is selected, production begins. Multiple versions may be created for distribution if a testing strategy is implemented.
Distribution & Tracking
During the creative and production phase, the email distribution system is properly configured based on your unique needs. The opt-in target list and approved emails are uploaded into the system. Landing pages are provided to you for posting on your Web site. Each campaign is thoroughly tested prior to launch. Pricing is based on monthly email volume.
Reporting & Analysis
Once a campaign is completed, we will develop a summary report including overall results, observations and recommendations for future communications. A summary report is provided one week after initial drop, as well as a complete summary report upon completion of the campaign (or end of the month for ongoing campaigns). In most cases, this step is followed with another round of strategic planning for the next campaign. Statistics include: the number of emails sent/received, open/read, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes and forward-to-a-friends. For direct response campaigns, the lists are exported into Excel format for easy integration with existing customer relationship management systems.
